Wilmer Boggs

Wilmer Boggs. 81 of Big Laurel, KY was born on September 7, 1938 and entered heaven on July 12, 2020. He was a retired truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Brown Boggs and Ethel Boggs Smith; his wife, Christine Boggs; his daughter, Anita Faye Boggs and his brothers, David Boggs and Richard Boggs and a sister, Marie Boggs Couch.

He is survived by his children, Charles “Sonny” Boggs and wife Dianne and Wilmer Michael Boggs and wife, Kim all of Big Laurel. His sister, Jenny Lee Jackson and husband, Gerald of Indiana. His grandchildren, Reagan Boggs, Lucas Boggs, Zachary Boggs, Courtney Boggs and Paxton Howard; his great-grandchildren, Timothy Carter Dewayne Thompson and Ava Kay Maria Saylor. His step-grandchildren, Jordan Lewis and Jade Lewis. Also, a host of nieces, nephew’s family and friends who will cherish his memory.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, July 16, at 11 o’clock at Big Laurel Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Boggs officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, from 4 – 6 PM at Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
