William “Bill” Bowman, 70, of Baxter, passed away on Thursday December 2, 2021, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on April 15, 1951, to the late Lawrence Bowman and Reva Sergent Bowman. Bill was a member of the Pinnacle Masonic Lodge #661 Middleboro, KY and worked many years for Old Dominion Trucking Company.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Short, his grandson, Austin Wade Bowman and his brother, Larry Bowman.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Marvenia Bowman; his sons, Will Bowman, Josh and wife, Kelly Bowman and his other children, Andrew Link, and Majik and husband Howard Parsons; four grandchildren, Aidan William Bowman, Braylon Manuel, and Braxton Parsons and Baxter Parsons. His brother, Ron, and wife Debbie Bowman. A host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 1PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Morris officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Hobbs, T.L Crabtree, Brian McReynolds, John Prince, Scotty Williams and Clark "Sparky" Middleton.
Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 11AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
The family requests that everyone attending please wear a face mask while attending services.
