Wilburn Turner

We are honoring the loss of Wilburn Turner, 61 of Bledsoe, who was born on March 22, 1961 and entered Heaven on March 23, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father, Elzie Turner, his grandparents, Floyd and Nancy Boggs and Henry and Della Turner. His special aunts and uncles, Ed and Ora Cornett, Bob and Helen Boggs and his brother-in-law, Lonis Wells. He is a member of Cedar Chapel Church in Big Laurel, KY.

Wilburn is survived by his precious and loving mother, Katherine Turner; his  siblings, Joyce Sizemore and husband Daugh, Floyd Turner and wife Doris, Shirley Wells, Wanda Gabbard and husband Darrell, Lois Goins and husband Earl, Colleen Sturgill and husband Mitchell. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 46 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Cedar Chapel Church in Big Laurel, KY with Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. Nathan Boggs officiating.

Burial will follow at Turner Farm Family Cemetery at Bledsoe with Rev. Larry Toner officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry, Walter, Jonathan, Rusty, Corbett, Roscoe, Wilburn, Zack, Brandon and Kevin. Special pallbearers will be, Bob Farley, Steve Miniard,  Russell Miniard, Benny K. Coots.

Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4-6PM at Henson & Rich Funeral Home and then continuing Friday evening at Cedar Chapel Church, 7 Cedar Chapel Road Big Laurel, Ky 40808 until the funeral hour on Sunday, March 27, at 11AM.
