Virginia Gail (Cain) Tye

Virginia Gail Tye, 83, of Harlan, KY passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. She was born January 29, 1940, in Harlan, KY. Gail was a homemaker and believed in the Mormon faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Madison Edward Tye; her parents, Arthur Cain and Delora Ray Cain; her daughter, Vanda Sue Tye; her son, Ricky Tye; her brother, Gene Cain.

Left to mourn her passing is her children, Michael Tye and wife Jennifer of Bardo, KY, and Gina Cooper and fiancé Blake Gross of Dayhoit, KY; her grandchildren, David Tye and wife Tracey, Brittany Weaver and husband Jason, Kendra Tye, Corrina Belcher and husband Michael, Justin Higgins and wife Kalee; her great grandchildren, Jovi, Austin, Jace and Korbyn; her sister, Anna Sue Fuller of St. George Utah; and several other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 1-PM at the Park-Howard Cemetery at  Wallins, KY with the Rev. Bobby Joe Rouse officiating. Pallbearers will be David Tye, Austin Tye, Jason Weaver, Michael Belcher, Blake Gross and Justin Higgins.
