Tommy Vanover

Tommy Vanover, 65 of Baxter, was born on June 20,1953 and died February 15, 2019 at his home. He was formerly employed at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital in the maintenance department.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Vanover, his brother, David Vanover and his brother-in-law, Bill Lewis.

He is survived by his wife, Karla Vanover; his mother, Elsie Vanover; his son, “Lil” Tom and wife, Angie Vanover; his granddaughters, Lexi Vanover, Peyton Lankford and Ally Linville, and his grandson, Brayden Linville. His siblings, Dana Vanover, Johnny “Buck” Vanover, Dennis “Cotton” and wife, Pam Vanover, Connie Lewis, Shirley Asher, Lisa and husband, Dennis Smith and Dee Dee and husband, Terry Harrison. Along with a host of neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7PM in the Chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home. Burial will follow Tuesday at 11AM at Middleton Cemetery at Baxter with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 5PM until the funeral hour.

Expressions of sympathy are asked to assist with funeral expenses.
