Tommy Bennett

Tommy Bennett, 70, of Black Joe, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2025, following a short illness. He was born July 17, 1954, in Baxter, KY. Tommy had been a construction worker and believed in the Pentecostal faith. Tommy loved animals and was an avid UK fan.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lora Dean Bennett; his parents, Carl Bennett and Goldie Davis Bennett; his brothers, Lawrence Bennett, Carl Ed Bennett and Ronald Bennett; his sister, Iris Bennett.

Survivors include his brother, Donald Bennett of Somerset, KY; his nephews whom he loved; Ronnie Bennett Jr and Judith of Baxter, KY, James Bennett and Amanda of Cawood, KY and Milton Bennett and Della of Stinnett, KY; Tommy also had several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews’ relatives and friends also survive.

Burial services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 1-PM at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Tracy Turner presiding. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
