Tammy Hornsby

Tammy Kay Hornsby, 41, of Stanfill, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 30, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born June 2, 1980, in Harlan, Ky. Tammy was a graduate of James A. Cawood High School, a homemaker and believed in the Church of God faith. She enjoyed the outdoors, four wheeling, fishing, and camping with her family.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Ray Hornsby Sr. Her grandparents, Geneva Hornsby, Gordon Gilbert, Alline Gilbert and Doris Kovacs and her uncles, Billy Hornsby and Steve Hornsby.

She is survived by her loving mother, Margaret Hornsby; her children whom she adored, Haley Middleton (Jeffery Brummett), Madison Middleton and Jacob Brock. Her siblings, Tommy Ray Hornsby Jr. and wife Jen and Linda Hornsby (Marco Hopkins) her nieces and nephews, Braylen Hollingsworth, Caden Hollingsworth, Dre’Don Hopkins, Ki’Mirah Hopkins and Chelsey Hornsby. Her special aunts, Shirley Gilbert, Debbie and husband Russell Gilbert; her special cousins, Bretley and Samuel Maxwell; her uncle, Bob “Ed” Shackleford and wife, Hilda. Also, her special friends, Ben and Brittany Pace and a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 6-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Roark and wife Amy officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday after 4-PM until the funeral hour. Burial will be at the Stanfill Cemetery at Stanfill, KY. After cremation.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are asked to assist with Tammy’s services.
