TINSLEY WHITEHEAD, JR

Tinsley Whitehead Jr, 72, of Bledsoe, KY was born on Monday, April 23, 1951, in Hyden, KY passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Harlan, KY. He was retired from McComb Supply Company in Harlan with 28 years of service, and he believed in the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Whitehead; his parents, Tinsley Whitehead and Viona Brock Whitehead.

Survivors include his three loving children, Sheri Craycaft and husband Carold of Tazewell, TN, Lonnie Whitehead and wife Lisa of Bledsoe and Tennille Whitehead of Leslie County KY. His grandchildren, Kayloni Epperson and husband Nick, Justin Craycraft and wife Nicole, Lonnie Whitehead Jr and wife Mahalah, Logan Whitehead, Emily Howard, Emma Howard and Elizabeth Napier and husband Hagan. His great grandchildren, Waylon and Wyatt Craycraft, Kylee McCarter, Haven, Amelia, Trevor and Tristin Epperson. His brothers, Lester Whitehead and Ronnie Whithead; his sisters, Omeda Holland, Goldie Simpson, Faye Simpson, Juanita Soto, Patricia Nantz and Shirley Brock. Along with several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.

A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday starting at 5PM at the funeral home with funeral services following at 7-PM with the Rev. Larry Toner, Rev. Travis Gross and Rev. Blake Turner officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 1PM at the Craycraft Cemetery in Bledsoe with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
