Sylvia (Pace) Griffin

Sylvia Pace Griffin, 78, of Harlan, Ky. Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. She was born August 2, 1941 Harlan, Ky. Sylvia was a homemaker and was a member of the Loyall Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Grace Pace; her husband, Billy Griffin; her son, Billy Ray Griffin and her brothers, Clarence Pace and Johnny Pace.

Survivors include her son, Wendell Griffin; her grandsons, Billy Griffin and Chris Griffin; her sisters, Geneva Smith, Betty Spurlock Myrtle Perkins and five great grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11-AM at Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Daniels officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help with final expenses.
