Shirley Bernice Sage

Shirley Bernice Sage, 65 of Baxter was born on August 2, 1956, in Harlan, Kentucky and entered Heaven on September 14, 2021, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker, enjoyed bingo and believed in the Holiness Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess Seals and Betty Crider Roskie; her daughter, Sarah Beth “Sally” Blanton, her brother, John Glenn Seals and her sister, Madge (Nune) Cloyd.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Sage; her daughters, Jessica Sage (Jr Couch) and Carolyn and husband, Sam Cowan. Her granddaughter, Shelby Cowan (Brit Parks), her grandsons, Sam Cowan (Carol) and Lee Roy Sage Jones and her great-daughter, Emberlynn Sarah Miller. Her brothers, Cecil (Anissa Faye) Seals, Gregory Joe Seals, Robbie (Brenda) Seals, Her sisters, Patsy Seals Housley, Carolyn (Jeroney) Smith, Wilma Saylor and Teresa (James) Douglas. Her brother-in-law, Clifford Collett and wife Delta, and sister in laws, Geraldine McKnight King, Imojene Camocho and husband Fred, and Lou Sturgill. Her special sister-in-law, Pauline Sage, special friend, Tommie Farmer and special niece, Summer Blanton.

Private services will be held at Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, Kentucky.
