Sara Jane King

Sara Jane King, 26 of Baxter, KY passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1995 in Harlan. Sara was a long-haul truck driver, a graduate of Harlan County High School and SKCTC. She was also a member of the Kildav Community Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Joe King; her maternal grandparents, Chester, and Linda Ingle; her paternal grandparents, Charles, and Bernice King. Also, two aunts, Wanda Sue King, Rosie King, and one uncle, Charlie King.

Survivors include her mother, Nicole Ingle; her loving children, Holli Jo Alred, Emilee Kate Whitaker, and Logan Allen Whitaker. Her sister, Heather Hoover, and husband Rodney. Two nephews, Braidyn and Rylin Hoover. Her aunts, Sandra Brookes and husband Noble, Lisa Lawson, Debbie Bailey, and Kim Bailey. Several cousins, relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1PM in the Chapel of Henson and Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Daniel and Rev. Doug Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will also be Thursday from 11AM-1PM in the Chapel of the Henson and Rich Funeral Home.
