Samuel Bradley Brewer II

Samuel Bradley Brewer II, 45, of Harlan, KY passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in Louisville, KY. He was born February 7, 1977 in Harlan. Sam done factory work most of his life. He was a graduate of Cawood High School where he graduated with Honors from excelling in JROTC. Sam liked playing games with his son, fishing, and believed in the Pentecostal Faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Brewer and is grandparents, the Rev. Denver & Goldie Short and James & Lorene Russell Brewer.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Beverly Short Brewer of Harlan. His son, Samuel Brewer III of Totz, KY, two sisters, Tammy & Jim Smith of Loyall, KY, and Ila Steward & husband Mike of Clinton, TN and a special friend, Kenny Gilman. Several aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 7PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Collins & the Rev. Jesse Kinder officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday beginning at 5PM at the Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 1PM at Resthaven Cemetery with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
