Roger Lee Bush

Roger Lee Bush, 52, of Dizney, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born August 3, 1967 in Harlan County. Roger was a retired security guard and a faithful member of the Brittains Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, KY basketball but most of all going to church and serving the Lord.

His parents, Marvin and Gracie Clark Bush and his brother, Jeff Bush precede him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Marlowe Bush of Dizney. His mother-in-law, Jewell Marlowe of Dizney; his sisters-in-law, Penny Brown and husband James of Cumberland and Teresa Bush of Lexington; his special children, Noah Day, Jordan Holman and Keristen Blair. Along with several other friends and relatives but most of all his church family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 1-PM at the Brittains Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Johnson and the Rev. Bill Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Ridgeway Cemetery of Highsplint, KY. Pallbearers will be, Chris Brewer, Jake Middleton, Randall Blair, John Howard, Andy Stewart, Damien Harris, James Brown, Hunter Howard and Jordan Holman. Honorary pallbearers will be the men’s Sunday School Class

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 after 4-PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made payable to the funeral home to help with expenses.
