Ricky Burkhart

Ricky Burkhart, 49, of Bledsoe, Ky passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. He was born April 14, 1971 in Harlan, Ky. Ricky was a retired truck driver and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ima Jean Tolliver Cooper, Fred Tolliver and Charles Cooper. His parents, Hershel and Lou Emma Burkhart and one brother Larry Burkhart.

Survivors include his brothers, Steve Burkhart and wife Kim, Wendell Burkhart and Randy Burkhart and wife Norma. Nephew, Cody Burkhart and wife Angel, nieces, Kristy Burkhart and Kayla Howard and husband Charles. Mother of his children Jamie Walker, children, Thomas Petrey and fiancée Madison Owens, Katelyn Bennett and husband James and Madelyn Farley. His pride and joy of his life, granddaughter, Kendal Purgitt. Special nephew, Samuel Brewer and great nephews, Jaxxon and Jace. Also several other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Saylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery of Bledsoe, Ky. Family will receive friends also on Wednesday after 11-AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help with final expenses.
