Reba (Pate) Brock

Reba Pate Caldwell Brock, 79, of Cawood, Ky. Went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1:30-AM with her family by her side. She was born November 29, 1940 in Harlan, Ky. Reba was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother who lived her life for the Lord. She was always sharing God’s grace, mercy, love and kindness with everyone she met. And always leaving a lasting impression on there lives. Reba was a strong believer in the Holiness Faith and was a member of the Ages Pentecostal Holiness Church for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Mae Pate; her late husband, Walter Lee Caldwell SR; her grandson, Steven Bradley Caldwell; her sisters, Lillian Mae Pate and Barbara Jean Ward; her brothers, Orville Lee (Sonny) Pate and James Phillip Pate.

She is survived by her husband, John Brock of Coldiron; four children, Rhonda Hickson and husband Jack, Walter Lee Caldwell JR and wife Sandy, Chris Caldwell and wife Thelma all of Cawood and Renea Branson of Harlan. Four step- children, Bridgett Brock and Darlene Freeman both of Coldiron and Melissa Shoemaker of Bluff City, TN and Charlotte South of Kingsport, TN. Twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her sisters, Betty and husband John Holland of London, KY and Joann Miracle of Powell, TN. Reba also leaves behind many special friends and families of the Ages and Cawood Pentecostal Holiness Church. Very close friends; Gayle Allen and Lou Kinder along with several other relatives and friends also survive. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2 o’clock at Ages Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jesse Kinder, Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Lee Caldwell officiating. Bro. Wayne Huff will read the obituary. Burial will follow at Evarts Memorial Gardens with Ethan Miller, Lucas Caldwell, Mark Duff, Jason Clem, Lee Caldwell, Jacob Bates, Brody Branson, Justin Caldwell and Gunner Caldwell serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 2 PM on Friday until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church.
