Peggy Ann Adams Williams, 72 of Lejunior, KY gained her Heavenly wings on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the UK Hospice Unit in Lexington, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kings Chapel Church. Peggy loved to draw and paint and was a member of the scrapbooking and cooking club. But, most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Myrtle Adams; her husband, Fred Williams; her four sisters, Jean White, Flo Eldridge, Judy Geraldine Adams and Callie Mae Adams; her grandson, Joshua Johnson and her great granddaughter, Darcy Bennett.
She leaves behind two loving children, Leslie (Abe) Bennett and Nathan Williams both of Lejunior. Seven grandchildren, Beth (Mikey) Johnson, Heather (Ron) Johnson, Katelin (Jerod) Blevins, and Ryan Bennett all of Lejunior, Abe Bennett JR of Sevierville, TN, Michael (Chastina) Bennett of Closplint, Marie (Brian) Dettmer of Lawrenceburg, KY and 19 great grandchildren. Her sister, Linda Payne of Lejunior and her brother, Larry Adams of Cotes, KY. Her special nephew, Lee Payne, special nieces, Bobbie Odgen and Debbie Payne and special cousin, Nancy Hensley along with several other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, at 3 PM at the Kings Chapel Church with the Rev. Janice Fulkerson officiating. Family will receive friends from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy be made to assist with funeral expenses.
