Patricia Skelton

Patricia “Meemaw” Skelton, age 89, of Harlan, passed away peacefully at Harlan ARH with her children by her side, on Sunday, June 21,2026. She was born May 20, 1937, in Harlan. She was also a 1955 graduate of Harlan High School.  Pat was a retired associate, having been employed by Belk’s for many years. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Arnold Queener and Opal Hensley Queener.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Ball and husband Vernon of Wallins and Mary Lynn Graham and husband Melvin of Loyall; her grandchildren, Jenny Mitchell and husband Seth, Jonathan Graham and wife Emily, and Patrick Ball and wife Brooke; her great grandchildren, Michael Robinson, Gavin Powers, Sydney Powers, Faith (Dawson) Mims, Savannah (Ola) Mitchell, Natalie Graham, Maleigha Graham, Rylee Graham, Andrew Ball, Blair Ball and Bennett Ball. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 5-7 PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11-AM at the Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Arnold Hammonds officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
