Pastor Edd "Jack" Ford

Pastor Edd “Jack” Ford, Jr. 56 of Kenvir, was born on April 12, 1967, and entered Heaven on October 25, 2023, due to an extended illness. Jack was a former Youth Pastor at Brittians Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He continued serving the Lord as Pastor at Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church, and Black Mountain Baptist Church for over twenty-five years. He felt blessed to be able to share the gospel and word of God to everyone and encouraged everyone to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edd Ford, Sr and Mary Janelle Ford, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.C. Luttrell and Zella Luttrell and his brother, Rodney Ford.

As Jack has gone home to be with the Lord, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife of twenty-five years, Denise Luttrell Ford; his son John and wife Tara Cloud; his granddaughter, Aubree Leigh. His siblings, Penny and husband Gary Hall, Edna and husband Pete Jones, Donna and husband, David Ball and Jerry Ford. His sister-in-law Evelina Ford, his brother-in-law Danny and wife Janie Luttrell and a host of family, friends along with his fur baby Sassy.

His funeral service will be Sunday, October 29th at 2 o’clock at Black Mountain Missionary Baptist Church 2350 Hwy 215, Kenvir, KY with Rev. John Luttrell officiating. Burial will follow at Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 28th from 5 -7 PM at Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
