Norma Jean Harmon 68, of Cumberland, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday with her loving family by her side. She was born April 8, 1951 in Harlan County KY. She was a wonderful God loving woman who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be sadly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Grant McKnight Sr. & Esther Dixon McKnight.
She was a devoted wife to Donald Harmon for 25 years. She was the loving mother to Kenneth Brown & fiancée Heather Hall, James Brown & wife, Penny and Christy Lewis & husband, Allen. Her heart was her three grandchildren, Corey Lewis, Shawn Lewis & Amelia Brown. She is also survived by her brothers, Mark McKnight & wife Sonja and Mike McKnight & wife Rhonda; her sister, Jan Hall & Husband Tommy. And several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 8th at 1PM at the Cumberland Church of God with the Rev. Ronnie Doyle officiating.
Burial will follow at the McKnight Bottom Cemetery of Hiram with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will also be held Wednesday from 11AM until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested expressions of sympathy be made to assist with funeral expenses.
