Mattie Dell Vick, 91 of Coxton, KY entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born on February 18, 1929 unto the union of the late Flint Smith Sr. and Hassie Thornton Davis. Mattie was a home maker and a member of the Harvest Worship Center. She was loved and adored by so many. Mattie’s contagious smile and infectious personality will be missed by all who knew her.
Other than her parents, Mattie is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Vick, daughters Katherine Fields and Barbara Jean Vick, sons Charles Vick Jr and Bill Vick, a brother Flint Smith Jr, and sisters Christine Hicks and Gernice Williams.
Survivors include her children Janice Hicks (Paul) of Harlan, KY, Arlene McCann of Lexington, KY, Deborah Fields of Coxton, KY, Jaqueline Vick of Coxton, KY, and Gwendolyn Vick of Eastbrook, KY. 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, a host of great great grandchildren, and lots more family, friends, and relatives who loved & adored her that are left to cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday January 09, 2021 at 1pm in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Roland “Bo” Lee and Rev. Albert Phillips officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday starting at 12pm until the funeral hour. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY.
