MARTHA HENSLEY

Martha Ann Hensley, 74, of Rose Hill, VA formerly of Smith, KY went home to be with the Lord of Monday, July 10, 2023 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born October 20, 1948, in Smith, KY. Martha was a homemaker and a faithful member of Arthurs Chapel Holiness Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Enos Hensley and Annie Hensley/Francis Hensley Brock; her brothers, Walden, Burt, Gilbert, Enos Jr, Jimmy and Rev. Ernest Hensley; her sisters, Phebe Howard, Virgie Roark, Mary Bell Asher, Betty Shepard, Pearlie Saylor and Jurleen Britton.

Survivors include her son, Jason Hensley of Rose Hill, VA; her sister, Letha Shepherd of Garden City, MI; her special cousin, Opha Hensley Jones of Smith, KY along with a host of several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends are left to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11AM at the Smith Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. Richard Long, Rev. Tim Charles and Rev. Steven Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery at Smith, KY with church friends and family serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 5 to 8-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
