Luther Robinson SR

Luther Robinson Sr. 88, of Coalgood, KY was born December 13, 1930 and entered Heaven on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the Mary Helen United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Lula Robinson; his wife, Pauline Robinson and his children Doyle Ray Robinson and Teresa Robinson, his siblings; Roscoe Robinson, Loretta Sue Peters, Martha Nell Archer, Alonzo Robinson, Leonard Robinson, Chester Robinson Jr. and Esco Robinson.

Survivors include his children, Luther Robinson JR of Coalgood, Jerry Wayne Robinson and (Helen Baker) of Coalgood, JoAnn Robinson Hoskins of Jasper, Alabama and Timothy Ray Robinson of Coalgood. His grandchildren, Brad Robinson and wife Jennifer, Nick Robinson, Chasity Robinson, Kassee Robinson, Clint Hoskins and wife Claire, Dustin Robinson and Derrick Robinson. And seven great- grandchildren. His siblings, Jay Robinson, Edna Zahn, Joe Robinson, Jimmy Gordon, Christina McCarty, Anna Helton, Shirley Wilson, Charlotte Jakubisn, Vivian Jones, William Robinson, Charles Robinson and Glenda Bordherding. And several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 7PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Jones officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday from 5PM until the funeral hour.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 1PM at Resthaven  Cemetery Chapel at Keith, KY.
