Luther “Luke” Robinson Jr., 66 of Coalgood, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 15,2021. He was born on May 24, 1954 in Harlan, KY to the late Luther Robinson Sr. and Pauline Collins Robinson. Luke was a retired Coal Miner, a veteran of the US Army, and believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Doyle Ray Robinson and his sister, Teresa Robinson.
Survivors include two sons, Brad Robinson, and wife Jennifer of Pathfork, and Nick Robinson of Coalgood. Three grandchildren, Ethan Robinson, Noah Robinson, and Jaxon Robinson. Two brothers, Jerry Wayne Robinson, and Timothy Ray Robinson both of Coalgood. One sister, Joann Hoskins of Jasper, AL. Also, the mother of his children, Alberta Robinson Collins of Coalgood. Several nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 18,2021 at 5PM in the Chapel of the Henson and Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Clem officiating. Visitation will also be on Sunday starting at 3PM until the funeral hour. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11AM at the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
