Lovette Wacks, 69 of Rio Vista, KY entered her Heavenly home on October 4, 2021. She was born on February 24, 1952, to Alma and Lansford Fields in Letcher County, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Whitesburg High School. After her retirement she loved being “Mam, spending time with family, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and whoever played Tennessee. One of her favorite hobbies was playing card games with family and friends. She believed in the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lansford and Alma Fields; her brothers, Delmas Fields, Darrell Fields, Kenneth (wife Bobbie) Fields. Her sisters, Mary Lou (husband Wayne) Tormehlen, Linda Ann (husband Danny) Adams and Emma Faye Wacks. Also, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Golden and Pauline Wacks and her brother-in-law, Charles Raleigh.
She leaves to cherish her memory and carry on in their hearts her loving husband of 51 years, Robert Wacks; her daughters, Donnece (husband Garry) Henson and Monique Wacks. Her grandchildren, Kyle (wife Megan) Wacks, Garry III, Samuel and Hannah Henson. Her great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Eleanor and Mason Wacks. Her sisters Ramona Raleigh, Betty (husband Bill) Fugate. Her brother, Robert “Con” (wife Donna) Fields. “Twin” cousin, Bobbie Combs Stelle. Her brother-in-law, Ronald “Pete” Wacks and sisters-in-laws, Donna (husband Jim) Ausmus, Edith Fields and Joyce Fields. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 o’clock in the Chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Roy Lucas officiating. Burial will follow on Friday at Lansford Fields Cemetery in Cowan, Kentucky with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5PM until the funeral hour.
