Lorraine Miller

Lorraine Price Miller, 84, of Dizney, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born July 8, 1937, in Gulston, KY. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, an Evangelist and believed in the Church of God Faith. Lorraine enjoyed her flower garden and gardening but most of all, she loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Price and Magdalene Brown Black, her son, Walter Miller Jr. Five great grandchildren including, Lee Jones and Lily Jones; one great-great-grandchild; her stepfather, Tom Black; her brother, Perry Black and sister, Minnie Faye Black.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter R. Miller of Dizney, KY; her children, Rebecca Arvin and husband Bill of Harlan, KY, Suzanna Jones and husband Eddie of Kenvir, KY, Sarah Jean Miller of Closplint, KY, Dave Miller of Fresh Meadows, KY and his Fiancé Glenda Maiden of Harlan, KY and Robert Fitzgerald Miller and wife Christina Renee of Louisville, KY. 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her brother, Tommy Black and wife Mary Sue of Keokee, VA. Her sisters, Shirley Philpot Unthank of Cincinnati, OH. Kathy Miles and husband Otis of Pennington Gap, VA and Debbie Miles of Pennington Gap, VA. Also several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 2-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. James Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery at Dizney, KY. Pallbearers will be, David Miller, Matthew Miller, Eddie Jones, Eric Arvin, Harold Craycraft Jr. Caleb Gross and Hayden Smith.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 5 to 8 PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
