Linda J. (Mink) Muncy

Linda J. (Mink) Muncy, 73 of Laurel County, passed away January 5, 2021 after a long battle of Illnesses. She was born in Benham, KY on July 1, 1947 Retired, She loved to serve in her communities including: Manager of United Methodist Mountain Mission at both Evarts and Corbin, KY locations, E.C. Porters Meat Department, and enjoyed being known as Granny to many making Homemade Biscuits at McDonald's on 192 in the city of London, KY where she was proud to call her home. Everyone loved to come to Linda's for a good Southern home cooked meal. She was a member of the East London Holiness Church of London and she would tell anyone that her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Luther Mink and Thelma(Seagroves) & S.W. Ball, her brother Allen Duron Mink, as well as late husband Rev. James L. McVay.
She is survived by Five Children: Doug Burkhart & Wife Dede, Mike Burkhart, Kenneth Burkhart and Wife Rhonda all of London, KY
Tim Burkhart of Alexandria, AL, Katrina and Husband Tim Yaden of Corbin, KY, and special stepson Lewis McVay and Wife Penny of Hamilton, OH and Former husband of 17 Years, Scott Muncy, SR of Seymour, IN and special brother, Bill Ball of Evarts, KY She had six grandchildren, a host of step grandchildren and other family and friends that loved her dearly.
Officiating: Rev. Joe Burns and Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland
Pall Bearers: will be Sons and Grandsons
The family will receive friends for visitation on Jan 11, 2021 from 11AM to 1PM and Memorial Service at 1PM @ The London Funeral Home.
Burial will Follow at the A.R. Dyche London Cemetery
