Linda Harmon, 73, of Bledsoe, KY entered her Heavenly home on Monday, July 12, 2021. She was born on June 23, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Linda had a huge impact on so many and gave unselfishly to everyone around her. She received her BA in education from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her Master’s Degree from The University of Kentucky. She was a tutor and taught Religious Education at the Holy Trinity Learning Center for many years, a Guidance Counselor for the Harlan County Public School System, volunteered for the Bledsoe Fire Department, and an active servant to her community. She had tremendous love for dogs as evidenced by the many she rescued and cared for. There is a lot more Linda could be acknowledged for, but Linda never wanted to be recognized or have attention drawn to herself. She wanted to do all the things she done out of the kindness of her heart and not for public attention. Linda was a positive influencer and will be missed by everyone in her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David, and Bernice Classen Harmon; her sister, Sr. Jan Harman, O.S.F. and her sister-in-law, Pamela Harmon.
Survivors include her two brothers, Tom Harmon of Mundelein, Illinois and Mike Harmon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
