Leslie Barger Jr

Leslie Barger, Jr 72 of Harlan was born on September 24, 1946 and died on August 14, 2019 in Kuwait City. He is a US Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Barger SR and Mellie Coots Barger.

He is survived by his son. Jermain and wife, Veronica of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alexander Barger, Henry Barger and Phoebe Barger. His siblings, Betty Lou and husband, Kenneth Owens of Coxton, Dorothy Lee Shook of Hodgenville, KY, Elizabeth Clem of Grays Knob, Paul and wife, Debbie Barger of Lawnvalle, Maxine and husband, Byrd Pace of Gulston and James David Barger of Baxter.  Also, a host of nieces and nephew’s family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1 o’clock in the Chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Hyden officiating.

Burial will follow at Wilder Cemetery with Military Honors by the Harlan County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 – 8 PM at Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
