Kathy (Stanton) Shepherd

Kathy Lynn Shepherd, 69, of Teetersville, KY entered Heaven on away Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born August 5, 1953, in Harlan, KY. She was a retired Registered Nurse having been employed by Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital, labor and delivery department, Dr. Dahhan’s office, former Director of Nursing at the Harlan Nursing Home, but more importantly being involved in the first Home Health Services of Harlan. Kathy was also a member of the Cawood Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim, and Mary Agnes Stanton; her husband, Melvin Howard Shepherd; her sisters, Sharon Gail Rowland, and Wanda Lee Abrenio.

Survivors include her loving daughter; Jennifer Shepherd of Teetersville, KY; her grandsons, Sean Cooper, and Tristan Cooper of Teetersville, KY; her brother; James “Bob” Stanton Jr and wife Kim of Florence, KY and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 11AM-1PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Memorial Services at 1PM with Rev. John Carter officiating.
