Kathy Gross, 60, of Wallins, KY entered the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 27, 2022, at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1961, in Harlan, KY to the late McCoy Maggard and Beulah Jones Maggard. Kathy was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Church of God of the Free People.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Gross; her brothers, Randy Maggard and Dennis Maggard. Also, her sisters, Tammy Hatmaker, Karen Maggard, and Terenda “Teddy” Fee.
Survivors include her husband, MG; two sons, Chris Gross, and Josh Miller both of Wallins, KY; one grandson, Brady Gross of Rosspoint, KY. One sister, Kay Colinger and husband Wesley of Keith, KY. Several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022, at 1PM at the Church of God of the Free People with the Rev. Vonny Jones and the Rev. Allen Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Harlan County Memorial Gardens with Josh Miller, Doyle Smith, Wesley Colinger, and Men of the Church serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Wednesday June 1, 2022, starting at 5PM also at the Church.
