Joyce Ann (Posey) Napier

Joyce Ann Posey Napier, 75, of Cranks, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 15, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born October 7, 1947, in Hazard, Ky. Joyce was a homemaker and believed in the Church of Christ Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Napier, her parents, Richard Posey Sr.  and Jemima Browning Posey; her brothers, Dean Posey and Johnny Williams and her sister, Mary Helen Rodifer.

Left to mourn her passing is her loving daughter, Claudette Wright and husband James of Cranks; her stepson, William “Wig” Napier of Grays Knob; her two grandsons, William Christofer Wright of Cranks and Dalton Jaymes Wright and wife Kaitlynn Marie of Ages. Her loving brother, Richard “Dickie” Posey Jr and wife Blanche of Cranks along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and her special friends at Horizons Adult Health Care also survive.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Resthaven Cemetery at 11AM with the Rev. Kenny Clem officiating. Special music will be provided by Michelle Boggs Pacholewski. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
