John Pace

John Pace, 79, of Cawood, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born October 6, 1946, in Cawood, KY to the late Millard and Mabel Pace. John is a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Cawood.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Samara Pace, his sister, Doris Forbis, & his in laws Charles & Eva Turner.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Lana Turner Pace; one daughter, Kari Pace Douglas (Darrell Douglas) of Cawood, KY; two grandchildren, Kadyn Douglas of Cawood and Devin Douglas (Morgan) of Corbin, KY, and two siblings, Wayne Pace (Amy) of Cocoa Beach, FL and Penny Pace of Pikeville, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.

A private burial will take place at a later date at the Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with family serving as pallbearers.
