Jess Blanton

Jess E. Blanton, 65 of Loyall, Kentucky, lived life from September 10, 1958, to October 30, 2023. Jess was an avid sportsman, who just loved being outdoors whether he was hunting, fishing or just observing. Jess is the son of Edna Sergent and Jess Blanton.

Going on before him was his brother Jerry Dale Blanton, his father Jess Blanton and his bonus dad, Ernest Howard. His father and mother-in-law, Harry and Sally Shuler, his brothers-in-law Kenny Shuler, Harry Shuler, Jr and Hershel Daniels.

He leaves to cherish and celebrate his life and memories, his mother Edna Howard, his wife Alice Blanton, his sister Sabra and husband Glen Howard, his sister Jessica Cotton, his sister-in-law Lynda Daniels, his aunt Jacqueline Blanton. His nieces: Jeri Lynn and husband Roy Milwee and their son Ridge. Brittney and husband Lincoln and their sons Landon, Logan, and Liam. Celestial Shuler and partner, Jake Rose. Mindy and husband Jonathan Patterson and their children Sarah, Mary Ellen, Madelyn, and Broady. His nephews: Bradley and wife Lyndsey Howard and their daughter Sophie. Kenny and wife Joanie Shuler and their daughter Alyssa Grace. Harry Shuler III and partner Brianna Middleton and children Lee, Cheyanna, Ethan, and Ryan. Ray Woods, James Woods, and Brandon Woods. Also, his sportsman friends: Troy Gaw, Clarence Gaw, Tony Gaw, Rodney Gaw, Samuel Gaw, Nathan Harvell, Bob Cornett, Vic Shaw, Ralph Pryor, Jeff Roark, Greg Hall, George Johnson, and Eric Jacobs.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 1PM at Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Troy Gaw officiating.
