Jerry Lynn Stevens, 72 of Smith, Kentucky was born on Monday, June 23, 1946 in Jonesville, Virginia and entered Heaven on Thursday, December 26, 2018. She is retired from the Harlan County Board of Education as a cafeteria worker and cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Harber and Verna Pace Nottingham; her brother, Ralph Harber; her grandson, Robert Stevens, JR and her husband, Jack Steven who entered Heaven on December 26, 2018.
She is survived by her children, James Stevens of Smith, KY, Leslie Stevens and wife, Carla of Cranks, KY, Robert and wife, Michelle Stevens of Pennington Gap, VA, Frank Stevens of Hulen, KY, Neil Stevens of Nashville, TN, Machelle Hartsock and husband, Matthew of Jonesville, VA. Her brother, Warren Nottingham and wife, Reva of Jonesville, VA. 12 grandchildren, Gabriel, Austin, Michael, Rebecca, Jack Jr., Jackalynn, Ethan, Haley and Malea Stevens, Justin and Natasha Woodard and 6 great-grandchildren. Her sister-in-law, Pauline Harber of Smith, KY along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, after 1PM at Pace Chapel Church at Smith, KY with funeral service on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 1PM with Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Stevens Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
