Jerry Lee Noe, 75, of Putney, KY passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 following a short illness. He was born December 26, 1948 in Putney, KY. Jerry was a retired financial counselor having been employed by Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital for many years. He also was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War and believed in the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Noe and Evelyn Lewis Coursey; his grandson, Austin Kaleb Noe; his sisters, Cora Faye Thompson, Marcella Fee and Sheila Bledsoe; his girlfriend, Donna Jones; his special friend, Priscilla Nails.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Lee Noe and wife Pauline of Berea, KY; his daughters, Kameron Bartel of Newport, MI and Kate Gard of New Castle, IN. His granddaughters, Madison Noe, Lilly Gard and Kimberly Burkhart; his grandsons, Jason Matthew Witt, Takoda Lee Hubbard, Peyton Noe and Landon Noe and one great grandchild. His brothers, James “John” Noe and wife Barbara of Barboursville, KY and Dave Noe and wife Jan of Radcliff, KY; his sisters, Myrtle Knuckles of Weslaco, TX and Margaret Bopp of Putney, KY. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 1-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Turner officiating. Visitation is also on Wednesday, from 11-AM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Military Burial Honors observed by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
