James Harvey Hensley

James Harvey Hensley, 59, of Harlan, KY. Passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 17, 1961 in Ohio. Harvey had been a Golf Pro for the Harlan County Country Club for many years and was employed in the construction business. He believed in the Church of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Earl Hensley and Minerva Hensley and his brother, Raymond Hensley.

Harvey was a loving father to three children, James Kelly Hensley and wife Victoria, Taylor Hensley and Joseph Hensley and wife, Kristen also one grandchild, Aiden Hensley. His loving sisters, Phyllis Rhymer and husband Gary and Kimberly Howard and husband Bryan.Hhis nieces and nephews, Shannon Elliott, Derek Middleton, Heather Geiger, Bryan, Brayden and Brianna Howard. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 6PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Pastor Bo Lee and the Rev. Michael Kelly officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday, starting at 4PM until the funeral hour.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11- AM at the Hensley-Surgener Cemetery at Cawood, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
