James E Bonham

James E. Bonham, 62 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Harlan County, passed away on Saturday evening, May 6, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Hospital due to an extended illness. He was born on April 22, 1960, in Fort Knox, KY and was a retired Restaurant Manager.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Bonham, his brother, Wesley Ray Bonham and his niece, Tiffany Lewis.

He is survived by his father James H. Bonham and wife Bertha; his children, Jason Bonham, and Sarah Thompson; his grandson, Jace Bonham. His sister, Elizabeth Lewis and his brother, Kenneth, and wife April Bonham. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 12, 2023, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Huckleby officiating. Burial will follow at Wilder Cemetery, Baxter, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 11AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
