James E. Baker, 63, of Bobs Creek, KY passed away on Friday April 28, 2023, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born January 13, 1955, to the late Arthur & Virginia Baker in Harlan, Ky. James was a retired truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and believed in the Baptist Faith.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Pleas Rob Baker, O’Neal Baker, & Ronnie Baker, and one sister, Shelby Baker Engle.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 45 years, Shirley Baker of Bobs Creek. One son, Robert Cantrell of Bobs Creek, two grandsons, Robbie & Joseph Cantrell, and one sister, Liz Purcell of Ohio. Several other relatives & friends also survive.
Per his wishes there will be no services at this time.
