Jacqueline Owens Grubbs, 70 of Cawood, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, following a short illness. Jackie was a homemaker and attended the New Covenant Cawood Church of God.
Her parents, Edward Owens and Myrtle King Owens; her husband, Rev. Robert Grubbs; her brothers, Frank Noe, Hay Noe, Charles Noe, Seymour Owens, James Owens and Wilse Owens precede Jackie in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Dixie Stepp and husband, Pearl of Cawood and Sandy Wilbanks and husband, Bruce of Calhoun, GA; Her grandchildren, Amanda Sizemore, Lee Stepp, Natashia Stepp and Vince Wilbanks; her great grandchildren, Kelon Stepp, Savannah Stepp, Lydia Sizemore, Skylynn Stepp and Noah Stepp. Her sisters, Daisy Meek of Tennessee, Millie Powell of Ohio, Janet Owens of Cawood, Georgia Owens Bryant of Tennessee and Eva Slusher of Cumberland; She also has several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11-AM at the New Covenant Cawood Church of God with the Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Emily Grubbs Cemetery of Cawood, with nephews and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-PM to 8-PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
