Ida (Daniels) Colegrove

Ida Colegrove,62 of Rosspoint, KY departed this life for her Heavenly home on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  She was born on May 16, 1962, in Harlan, Ky to the late Joe and Martha Daniels.  Ida was a homemaker and believed in Pentecostal Holiness Faith.

She was a friend to many and was also a mother to many of the young people in the churches she attended.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Martha Daniels; two brothers, Carl Daniels and Thomas Daniels.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gary Colegrove of Rosspoint, KY; her loving children, BJ Colegrove of Richmond, KY, Hope Brock and husband Jeff of Harlan, KY. Gary Ray Colegrove and wife Holly of Cumberland, KY. Ten grandchildren Caleb, Josh, Jordan, Alexius, Anna, Gunnar, Jordyn, Aerianna, Aubree and McKenna. Two brothers, Randy Daniels and wife Amie of Cranks, KY and Hiskell Daniels and wife Sarah of Coxton, KY and one sister, Kathy Turner of Evarts, KY. Also, her special friends, Alice Gross, Rosemary Saylor and Eva Scruggs along with several nieces, nephews, church family and friends also survive.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2024, at 7 pm in the chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Terry Baker officiating.

 Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions to assist with funeral expenses.
