Hershel Daniels, 79, of Georgetown, KY, heard the Lord’s call on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Hershel is the son of the late Hamp and Cleo (Hensley) Daniels, and entered this life on May 13, 1943, at Smith, KY.
Hershel retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY. He was one of the original thirteen trainers and nine instructors who started Toyota training on July 20, 1987.
Hershel is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Lynda Gail (Shuler) Daniels; sisters, Beulah Daniels and Lorene Slee; brothers, Clyde Daniels and Freeman Daniels and wife Liz, all of Smith, KY; sister-in-law, Alice and Jess Blanton, Loyall, KY; his God-given brother and sister, Charlie and Lissie McGuire of Nicholasville, KY and their son, Charles McGuire of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, friends, and his Toyota family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 16th at 3pm in the chapel of Henson and Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Spencer Burkhart officiating. He will be laid to rest at Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will also be held on Sunday, starting at 1pm until the funeral hour.
