George Saylor Sr.

George Saylor Sr, 54, of Molus, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born September 20, 1970, in Harlan, KY. George was retired coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lydia Sue Saylor and his niece, Ashlyn Brooke David.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Sheila Scott of Cumberland Gap, TN; his children, George Allen Saylor Jr of Lafollette, TN, Jordan Clark Saylor and Madison of Cumberland Gap, TN and Shilyn Brooke Saylor LaMaster and husband Noah of Lafollette, TN. His grandchildren, Mason Eli Saylor, Raven Hope Saylor, Nova Grace Saylor and Solomon Clark Saylor; his siblings, Jesse Saylor and wife Kim of Molus, KY, Kenny Saylor of Berea, KY, and Tammy Saylor and Selena of London, KY and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 2PM at the Molus Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ray Stepp and the Rev. Shane Sandifur officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Molus, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 5-9PM at the Molus Pentecostal Church.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that expressions of sympathy be made to the Henson & Rich Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
