George Caldwell Jr.

George Caldwell Jr, 70, of Wallins, KY passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 5, 1955, in Harlan, Ky. George was a retired coal miner with several years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. George was also a member of the Molus Pentecostal Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents. George Caldwell Sr and Dorcas Saylor Caldwell; his sister, Fannie Gooden; his brother Ralph Simpson.

Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife, Tammy Caldwell of Wallins, KY; his children, George Caldwell III and wife Allyson of Wallins, KY; Brian Holt and wife Christy of Tennessee; Michelle Caldwell and husband Josh of Rosspoint, KY. His grandchildren whom he adored, Chelsey Caldwell, Faith Caldwell, Kelsey Holt, Jackson Holt, Isabelle Caldwell, William Caldwell, Hunter Gray and Landon Gray. His sisters, Betty Cornett and husband Jerry of Knoxville, TN, Christine Caldwell of Coldiron, KY, Connie Calloway and husband Sam of Knoxville, TN. Also, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

In honoring Mr. Caldwell’s wishes all services will be private.
