Genesis Ruth-Elaine Bass, 7 months, of Middlesboro, KY, earned her precious Angel Wings on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on June 22, 2021, and left footprints on everyone’s heart since that day. Genesis had a smile that would light up anyone’s day, and she will be missed by so many who loved and adored her.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Otis Bass Jr.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are her loving parents, Stacy, and James Bass of Middlesboro; three stepsisters, Keighlee Anne, Annabelle Jaylee, and Braighlee Jae Bass; her maternal grandparents, Hobert Miracle and wife Jerri Lynn of Harlan, and Sheila Osborne, husband Daniel of Cawood. Her paternal grandmother, Cynthia Lee Pelfrey of Norton, VA. Her great grandparents, Joyce and Junior Miracle, and Jane and Robbie Pack all of Harlan. Her aunts and uncles, Daniel P. Osborne of Cawood, Haley and Dylan Moore of Harlan, Brittany and Jason Carver of Harlan, Tiffany and Travis Clem of Evarts, Katilyn Turner of Bath, KY and Ciji Bass from Norton, VA. Also, her special cousins, Lillie, and Elliana Carver, Malakiye and Khloe Harris, and soon to be Raegan Moore. A host of several other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 1PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Helton officiating. Burial will follow at the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 11AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
