Frances Wright Haley, 82, of Elcomb, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born on October 18, 1939, in Teetersville, KY to the late Ray and Norma Wright. Frances was a retired CNA, having been employed by the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center for 33 years. She was also a member of the Elcomb Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Haley. Her son, Raymond Cole, and her stepchildren, Emmy Hickey, Roger Cole, Danny Cole, Sue Cole, Frank Cole and Florence. Also her brother, Elbert Wright.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Nick Wright & wife Tammy, and Mary Hampton & husband Jack. Three stepchildren, Brenda Wilder, Dennis Cole and Sondra Davis; four grandchildren, Christie, Nicholas, Aaron, and Eric, along with a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren. Her siblings, Raymond Wright and Virginia Mink and a special friend & neighbor, Margaret Moses. Several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 7PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. David Overbay officiating. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday at the Wright Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
