Fleda Johnson

Fleda Johnson 83, of Putney, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 9, 1936 in Cumberland Gap, Va. Fleda was a retired sales clerk and believed in the Catholic faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nila Morrison Robertson; her husband, Ken Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Regina Peterson; her son-in-law, Leroy Davis; her brothers, Bob Robertson, Bill Robertson and Jim Debusk; her sisters, Serina Manning and Letha Faye Robertson.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Davis of Loyall, KY, Robert Peterson of Putney, KY and Darrell Peterson and wife, Sandra of Calhoun, GA. Her grandchildren, James Robert Peterson, Michael Bradley Peterson, Kevin Peterson and Keith “Scooter” Peterson; her great grandchildren, Harley Rachelle Peterson, Hayden Peterson, Dillion Peterson and Alex Peterson. And several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 1-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Friday, after 12-PM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In accordance with phase 2 of the COVIS-19 event dated JUNE 20, 2020 by the Kentucky Governor, capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines will be followed during all services including the wearing of face coverings for the safety of our families and guests.
