Elmer Brock

Elmer “EJ” Brock, 66 of Mary Alice, KY passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was born November 3, 1954 in Leslie County KY. EJ was a retired coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dora Brock; his brothers, Sam Brock, Hiram Brock and Orville Brock and his sisters, Birdie Brock and Florence Brock.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Brock of Mary Alice, KY; his children, Brittany Collett and husband, Hayston of Mary Alice, KY, Travis Brock and wife, Kattie of Harlan, KY and Jacob Brock of Mary Alice, KY. His grandchildren, Blayne Brock, Corbin Brock and Kamryn Brock. His brother, Ronnie Brock and wife, Deb of Molus, KY his sister, Gail Brock of Warbranch, KY. Along with several other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 4-PM in the chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Brock and Pastor Denver Brock officiating. The family will also receive friends from 2-PM until the funeral hour on Sunday.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 at 12-PM at the Day-Jackson Cemetery of Cranks, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.

In accordance with phase 2 of the COVID-19 event dated June 20, 2020 by the Kentucky Governor, capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines will be followed during all services including the wearing of face coverings for the safety of our families and guests.
