Edward Morton, 69, of Harlan, KY passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. He was born August 13, 1954 in Harlan, KY. Ed was a retired carpenter and a friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Eugene Morton and Ruth Guthrie Morton; two brothers, Stephen Morton and Robert Mark Morton.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Perkins Morton; his two sons, Michael Myers and Patrick Myers. His brother, Charles David Morton and wife Jennifer; his sisters, Beth Goodman and Anna Margaret Morton. Also, his long time friend, Owen Lewis and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, August 29th at 11 AM in the chapel of Henson & Rich Funeral Home.
