Edna Jean Mullins, 63 of Evarts, entered her Heavenly Home on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in Pineville, Ky. She was born on March 10, 1958, in Pine Mountain, Ky to the late Redmon Day and Nancy Couch Day. Edna worked many years as a factory worker for the Levi Factory and she believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Mullins; her loving daughter, Leann Mullins; five brothers, Elhanon, Oscar, Henry, Alex, and Lee John Day; One sister, Flossie Callahan, and one nephew Gary Creech.
Survivors include her two children, Steven Mullins, and Stephanie Mullins; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Rex, and Wayne Day, and three sisters, Grace Woodard, Katharine Day, and Betty Sue Napier. Several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 1PM at the Pine Mountain Church of God with the Rev. Kermit Creech officiating. Visitation will also be Thursday starting at 11AM until the funeral hour at the church.
Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery of Pine Mountain, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
