EVELYN (COLLETT) HENSLEY

Evelyn Hensley peacefully entered her Heavenly home on Thursday, June 6, 2019. She shouted and praised her Savior as He said “Welcome home my good and faithful servant”.  She was born January 30, 1950. In her presence you felt loved. Evelyn was selfless always thinking of others before herself. She will be missed deeply by her husband of 55 years, Donnie Hensley, her daughter; Evelina Ford & husband Rodney, her son; Tommy Hensley & wife Denease, her granddaughter; Ashleigh Hensley & fiancée Andrew Atkins, her sisters; Claudine Collett & Betty Bays, her brother; Nathan Collett and several other relatives and friends also survive.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Collett & Nettie Collett Saylor, her brothers; George, John R., John L. & Bill, her sisters; Haley, Juanita, Ann & Carolyn.

 Visitation will be Saturday from 6PM at 9PM at The House of Mercy in Wallins. Funeral services will be 12 noon on Sunday, June 9^th at the church with the Rev. Darlene Roberts & the Rev. Carl Eldridge officiating.

Burial will follow at the Donnie Hensley Cemetery with Garry Henson II, Garry Henson III, Pate Smith, Johnny Smith, Billy Hensley & Bobby Schmidt serving as pallbearers.

Henson & Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
